Our thriving marine trades community ready for the next generation

I wholeheartedly endorse Pam Petranek for Port Commissioner. I am a sailmaker employing 8-10 workers at Point Hudson since 1978 and am proud to be a part of our vibrant and vital marine trades community. Port Townsend’s working waterfront is the envy of many of the west coast’s Ports. It is the identity, authenticity, and economic driver of our Port, accounting for 20% of our county’s economy.

Pam will protect our community’s maritime heritage, its working waterfront, and our environment. She has the vision, knowledge, skills, and wisdom to craft solutions and collaborate with her fellow commissioners, Port staff, and fellow citizens to meet the Port’s many challenges—creatively and with grace.

A vote for Pam is a vote for what we love about our Port: access for youth programs, maritime education for all ages, welcoming marinas that accommodate visitors and locals, and a thriving marine trades community ready for the next generation.

Please join me in voting for Pam Petranek for Port Commissioner.
